Hope & Safety Alliance offers educational programs and training workshops on identifying and understanding the impact of intimate partner violence. Specific training is offered on the practice of trauma-informed care. Trainings are tailored to meet the needs of agencies, businesses, churches, schools, and healthcare providers. SCHOOL PRESENTATIONS

Hope & Safety Alliance partners with Lane County School Districts to provide the Healthy Relationships curriculum to middle and high school students. This curriculum teaches students about healthy relationships, choices and communication. The lessons address attitudes, opinions, and behaviors related to dating abuse and healthy relationships.

EDUCATE YOURSELF

There are many misunderstandings and mistaken beliefs about the issues surrounding domestic violence and intimate partner violence that continue to perpetuate the oppression of victims. One way to change this is to educate yourself on the facts and then educate your peers. You can be a Changemaker through challenging conversations that are based on incorrect information or false assumptions.
